We anchored Green Panther in Daniel's Bay (Anse Hakatea) about 1.5 miles east of Taiohoe Bay on Nuku Hiva. This remote anchorage is calm, protected, has visiting Manta Rays, and a 2 hour hike leads to the tallest waterfall in all of French Polynesia. The locals are very friendly and the supply of fresh fruits is plenty.
